Boston Trip

As most of you know Brendan used to work for SkyWest, an airline that works with Delta. He worked for the benefits, ie free flights for employee and spouse. But the hours were awful. He was always scheduled to work weekends (Friday through Monday, 5:00 til they were done, usually 9 or 10pm). So we decided he should quit soon, mostly because the trips we'd plan required work off and even though the flights were free, hotels and rental cars were not.
The temptation was too great, so we planned a final trip back east to Boston then to Pennsylvania. We've always wanted to go to Boston - we really want to end up there - also, I hadn't seen my best friend from school since she and her family moved there. So we made all the arrangements and took the trip. We had a great trip, but it was hard to come back to work and definitely hard to give up those benefits. We did both and it's turned out great - we finally have our weekends back!!
